Today Tuesday May 20, 2014 we will reveal #17 in the TOP 25 G5 FBS programs projected for the 2014 Football season.  Each day starting at the bottom #25 we will give an introduction about each team until we get to #1.

The Gridirons Great G5’s of 2014 (TOP 25) Introducing # 17

17)   Western Kentucky  (8 – 4) CUSA, The new Head Coach at Western Kentucky should step in and not miss a beat as he was  promoted from Offensive Coordinator after Bobby Petrino left to become Head Coach at the University of Louisville.  The Hilltoppers play in the 22,000 seat Houchens Industries – L.T. Smith Stadium. Western Kentucky returns only 11 players from a very successful 2013, but the Hilltoppers are bringing a very strong 2014 recruiting class that includes an impressive list of Jr. College players that should make an immediate impact.  The start of the 2014 year should test the resolve of the team, but they will hit the conference schedule running.
